The Everyday Cup

Medium roast is where most people land, and for good reason: enough development to smooth the cup, enough restraint to keep the origin character. Unity is the roast we built to be drinkable all day — the one that works at 6am and still works at 3pm, in a drip machine or a French press or a pour-over cone.

Unity is Roaster's Choice, which means the origin rotates as lots come and go. What doesn't rotate is the profile: smooth, balanced, chocolate and caramel forward, never sharp. Every lot is cupped against that standard before it earns the Unity name, and lots that don't hit it get passed on — no matter how good the paperwork looks.

Why Rotating Origins

Coffee is seasonal. Chasing a single origin year-round means buying it well past its best, which is how consistency turns into staleness. We'd rather change the origin and keep the cup consistent than keep the label and let the coffee slide. If you've had Unity from three different origins and couldn't tell us which was which, that's the point.
