As a coffee lover, there's nothing more enjoyable than savoring a rich, aromatic cup of coffee in the morning. However, for those of us who struggle with acid reflux, stomach, and gut issues, this beloved ritual can become a source of discomfort. I know I have struggled with many of these issues all my life.

High acidity, bitterness, and potential contaminants in supermarket coffee often make these problems worse, making it a challenge to enjoy a cup of joe without worry. In my quest for the perfect cup of coffee that caters to sensitive digestive systems, I created Pangea Coffee Co.—which I believe will be a true game-changer in the world of coffee.

The Problem with Regular Coffee

For years, I have battled numerous stomach issues. I have what I call a sour stomach—it's just never happy! This may be because I have allergies to nuts and gluten. And although I keep a pretty healthy diet, I would still deal with the adverse effects of my daily coffee habit.

Despite trying numerous brands and blends, the high acidity and bitterness in traditional coffee would inevitably trigger my acid reflux and leave me with an upset stomach. Furthermore, concerns about allergens, mold, and toxins in some coffee products only added to my worries.

I would search all over, but it never seemed possible to find a coffee that didn't compromise my health for flavor.
